Thunder Mountain Lodge offers cabin rentals on the Grand Mesa. We also offer guided snowmobile tours on the Grand Mesa National Forest, and canoe, stand up paddleboard and other boat rentals for the lakes of the mesa.

The Grand Mesa National Forest offers many different activities throughout the entire year. Thunder Mountain Lodge is centrally located and offers many different equipment rentals. Including Snowmobile rentals, Canoes, SUPs, Inflatable Kayaks, Row Boats & more! The Cabins
Although the main lodge and restaurant burned down April of 2012, do not be fooled into thinking all of the cabins have disappeared too! The cabins are still in great shape, with three of them newly remodeled. Each cabin has a fire pit outside and a rustic wood & log decor indoors and outdoors. The cabins also feature a full kitchen offering: refrigerator, microwave, toaster, stove, oven, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, and dishware; just bring groceries and a chef! Each cabin has its own shower, sink, and toilet.
